Taught by Eastman School professor Marina Lomazov

Practice and master the Études of Chopin — some of the most brilliant works of Romantic piano repertoire — with a structured approach. Bring the skills with you to everything else you play.

4.8/5 (642+ reviews)

Reach the pinnacle of piano virtuosity.

Chopin’s 24 Études are beloved for both their beauty and bravura. But their technical demands might make them seem out of reach.

Until now, that is. Renowned concert artist and professor Marina Lomazov takes a deep dive into these famous pieces — first through the lens of exercises from the father of modern piano technique, Carl Czerny, and then through detailed examinations of some of the most notorious passages in Chopin’s Études.

  • Measure your abilities by attempting the Études, and identify areas for growth.

  • Play through preparatory exercises while adopting the right posture and mindset.

  • Gain technical and interpretive skills you can take into any difficult piano work.
